These rides are aimed at entry levels, so whether you just bought your first road bike or whether you are a seasoned Gran Fondo rider, you are welcome to come and ride with us and feel welcome. We don’t have any minimum pace to keep up to but generally we average between 12 – 20 mph depending on total distance. The longer rides are generally faster than the short ones.
We ride every Tuesday & Thursday 6.00pm from April – October.
Riders gather at the shop at around 5.50pm and are generally sorted into 3 speed groups. The faster riders will do a few extra miles in their group to get to the destination, whilst the slower riders will head straight their and all should arrive for a social at about the same time. If you are new to group riding we can soon teach you the “do’s and don’ts”
Don’t be shy we are all just riding for fun and not to break any records.

West to East. Thursday 28th May – Monday 1 June 2026
This will be the third time we have run this trip. We leave Dunx Cycles in Lowestoft at 9.00am On thursday and drive to St Davids in Wales. Each evening we meet up to socialise and enjoy a meal together. Riders should be capable of 15mph average riding speed, and be fit enough to ride 400 miles in 4 days.
